As previously reported by BSEN, Tribe Gaming has announced the signing of Mexican player “Diegogamer” to replace Zeus on their active roster.

The Hottest Prospect in NA

Diegogamer joins Tribe Gaming after a stunning 2025 season in which new blood upset the balance and dethroned titans of old. Alongside a combination of Vegeta, Evx, and Patchy, Diego was one of the most consistent players throughout 2025, dominating most of the North American region. Initially under Havoc, and then BC* Gaming NA, the trio of unlikely misfits ran through tried and tested NA legends, making all three grand finals of the first split but ultimately falling short to TRB in each of those months. Still, it was enough to earn them a spot at Brawl Cup in Dallas–and the attention of US based organization ELEVATE, who entered the scene in 2024, losing their roster at the end of the season to TRB themselves.

Despite this shining start for Diego after qualifying to just one Monthly Final in 2024, visa issues proved to be an obstacle that he could not overcome. He stayed home for the Brawl Cup, watching as ELEVATE, alongside substitute player Patchy, lost matches to ZETA DIVISION twice in the group stage. Still, not all hope was lost for the young Mexican player. With a new passion and a new organization, Diego and his team made headlines by finally defeating TRB in a sweep, taking home the June Monthly Finals in prime position to qualify for Worlds. With Vegeta’s absence during a pre-planned trip to Korea, the team struggled throughout July and August.

Heartbreak and Second Chances

While Diego’s skill was undeniable, tragedy struck this young player when ELEVATE was disqualified from the 2025 World Finals amidst accusations of poor work ethic and Evx being benched from the active roster by Vegeta and Patchy. Caught in the crossfire, Diego watched as his year’s work crumbled. Team Elektros, who qualified to LCQ as a result of ELV’s disqualification, invited Diego to play as their substitute for belal, as he was unable to secure his visa in the short timeframe given. Alongside Ezlivi, Rafiki, and coach Kapi, TE were a dark horse team–they were also crowd favorites. Close matches led TE into a golden ticket match against Reply Totem, where the unlikely underdogs suffered a heartbreaking reverse sweep, ending Diego’s dreams of Worlds just short of the finish line for the second time.

Now, Diego will join a struggling Tribe Gaming roster who seems unable to shake off their demons. Despite dominating the region throughout 2025, TRB failed to advance past groups at LAN, placing last at Brawl Cup and 9th-12th at Worlds with losses to CR in the same fashion as the end of their 2024 season and the 2024 World Champions HMBLE. Diego will replace Zeus on the active roster, who departed the team on December 28th.

Tribe Gaming’s roster is:

🇲🇽 Diegogamer

🇲🇽 R B M

🇵🇷 Lxffy

🇬🇹 Killer (Head Coach)

🇪🇸 Sugus (Analyst)
