[NA] Alyanys Retires

After five long years of competition in North America, Mexican player Armando "Alyanys" Paredes has announced his retirement.

More commonly known as "Ratalyanys" by many in the community, the player first competed at the tier 1 level in 2022 with Reconic Esports NA alongside JHeart, Nathan6904, and Gatsby. Ratalyanys' core roster evolved over time, and he competed alongside the core of Vatra/STMN25 in Washed Team in 2023. He's bounced around organizations, but returned to Reconic Esports on RCN Black at the conclusion of the 2024 season.

2025 was arguably Alyanys' most successful year with statement victories over Tribe Gaming and SSG as highs of Eternal's performance. Teammates Betuchiz and Frixi retired at the conclusion of the 2025 season, but Alyanys continued on into the beginning of 2026 alongside Xemp and Tyrant. After his departure from the roster, the rat's final act was representing PCIFIC Forza Esports for Challengers North America alongside Squeezy and Diegofr.

Although he may have never made it to LAN, Alyanys is one of the staple names in the Mexican scene, and North American Brawl Stars overall. He's consistently produced major upsets on underdog teams and proved time and time again why he is one of the best. He thanked Luffy in his goodbye statement on X.
