North America’s best is making a change that almost no one saw coming – and it’s a big one. New information is circulating about a sudden change to rosters that will see Mexican player "Diegogamer" set to join Tribe Gaming for the 2026 season.

A New NA Hope

Diegogamer has been a part of BSC since 2023 but did not make his proper debut until the 2024 season. Alongside Counter and Relax, the trio qualified to one Monthly Final in June, signing to Singapore-based Rival Esports as a secondary roster. Coming into 2025, expectations were low for what many viewed as a band of misfits in a region typically dominated by tried-and-true players. Little did anyone know, it would be a year of surprises for Diego and his teammates.

Initially under Havoc, Diegogamer shocked the world in February with teammates Evx and Vegeta by placing second in the Monthly Final with a huge upset with a sweep over CODE OG, along with a shocking reverse sweep of ELEVATE. BC* Gaming saw their promise and picked them up for March and April where they made two more consecutive Grand Finals with wins over powerful teams like Spacestation, STMN, and Pioneers. Despite being unable to best an undefeated Tribe Gaming, BC* were the clear second place team in the region by a large margin, showing great skill and innovative drafts. Diego’s flexibility was unrivaled by many players around the globe, being able to play a variety of roles, from control to secondary tank, with a high level of precision.

ELEVATE took notice of their performances and signed them prior to the Brawl Cup. Due to visa issues, Diego was unable to attend, but he looked unfazed during the summer split. ELEVATE finally bested Tribe in the June Monthly Finals, an unbelievable turnaround for a player that was barely able to qualify to one Monthly Final in 2024. ELEVATE performed respectably for the rest of the split in the absence of Vegeta with another grand finals in July and a semifinals finish in August.

Casualty of War

Diego looked like a new NA hope throughout the 2025 season but was unable to find the final destination twice. Despite qualifying to the 2025 World Finals, ELEVATE was disqualified due to drama surrounding Evx and Patchy, resulting in internal fighting that made ELEVATE ineligible to compete in the 2025 World Finals. As a result, STMN Esports qualified to the World Finals, and Team Elektros was promoted into post-season qualification, taking the vacant LCQ spot.

With such short notice, TE player belal was unable to secure his visa to attend LCQ in São Paulo, resulting in Diegogamer being called upon as a substitute. Alongside Ezlivi, Rafiki, and Kapi as the coach, Diego showcased his talent on stage. Despite minimal practice and a low amount of prep time, TE looked at home on stage with Diego, qualifying to Day 3 but being unable to stop Reply Totem’s reverse sweep. Despite the heartbreaking end, it was a respectable showing for TE with a substitute, and a testament to Diego’s skills on the server, regardless of the environment.

Tribe Gaming was set to stay together for 2026 having reportedly signed a two year contract, but they felt a change was needed after two years of falling at the hands of Crazy Raccoon. Initially set to play with Vegeta again for 2026, Diegogamer will now take the place of Zeus in NA’s biggest organization.

TRB’s roster will likely be:

🇵🇷 Lxffy

🇲🇽 RBM

🇲🇽 Diegogamer

🇬🇹 Killer (Head Coach)

🇪🇸 Sugus (Analyst)
