[NA] ELEVATE Returns For 2026 Despite 2025 Disqualification

Despite a difficult end to the 2025 season, ELEVATE has returned, signing a new roster in their home region of North America with old and new faces alike as previousily reported by BSEN.
Elevating Their Roster
Of the four players that played for ELEVATE during the second half of the year in 2025, only “Vegeta” is here to stay. After a massive drama unfolded in which three players of ELEVATE attempted to bench Evx, citing internal disagreements and lack of commitment, BSC admins stepped in and issued a formal disqualification of ELEVATE from the 2025 World Finals. The admins stated that they were “unable to maintain their qualified roster” and were thus removed from the competition.
ELV was a staple team throughout 2025, bouncing around several different organizations as the consistent second best team in the region. They qualified to Brawl Cup, placing 5th-6th with Patchy as a substitute and won the June Monthly Finals over 1st seed Tribe Gaming, the new home of former ELV player Diegogamer. With Patchy departing for KDS Esports alongside ex-SSG players Bobby and Sans, Vegeta will lead his new team as a captain of a 2026 rebuild and start from the ground up.
Old Dynasties, New Legacies
Vegeta’s not alone, though. For 2026, he’ll be joined by NA unc Matthew “OG” Arellano and newcomer rookie “Duckie” by his side, who will be making his proper BSC debut now of age.
A veteran to the BSC scene, the uncle himself is hoping to make it far in this new BSC season holding new promises and possibilities. He departed as a player midway through 2025 to coach his former teammates on Spacestation. He will be making his return to active competition alongside cracked rookie Duckie, who competed in last year’s February Monthly Finals but ultimately quit for the time being due to reports of him playing under the BSC age limit.
