Despite a variety of changes throughout the off-season, sources have reported that REJECT has finalized its roster by adding former ZETA player “Levi.” BSEN has been aware of internal changes in roster variations consisting of different combinations, including Ryohei and Shu; ultimately, RC’s 2025 roster will make just one change heading into 2026, with Battoman and Levi swapping places between the teams.
A Historic Swap
As previously reported by BSEN, 2025 REJECT player Battoman will transfer to ZETA DIVISION as their new third player, as Levi has departed ZETA at the end of his contract. The 22-year-old Japanese player completed his first full year of BSC in 2022 under the username “Yottan” before adopting the alias Levi in 2023. Alongside veteran player Menmi and two-time World Champion Achapi, Levi competed during REJECT’s first introduction to the BSC. REJECT were one of the most consistent teams in 2023, winning two Monthly Finals and attending every regional grand final for the East Asia region in 2023. Despite their high performances, they fell short to the Crazy Raccoon superteam by 20 points and ultimately attended LCQ as the second seed from their region. Although they advanced from their group, they were outmatched by NAVI in groups and STMN in their golden ticket match, narrowly missing Worlds during the beginning of the “Downfall of Japan.”
In 2024, Levi and Achapi continued together under a new banner: Natus Vincere, also known as NAVI. NAVI made their debut in APAC with a revitalized roster adding I See following Menmi’s retirement. The organization started the year off slow, failing to qualify to the first Monthly Final. With the addition of Sizuku for March, NAVI bounced back, winning the April Monthly Finals before another underperformance in April without qualification, ending their split in a dangerous position. The second half of the year proved consistent enough for NAVI to scrape by to LCQ, qualifying by just one point over Coco Loco as the fourth seed from APAC. NAVI looked like a shell of their potential at the event, ending in last place with group stage losses to LCQ favorites Reply Totem and Chinese dark horses Toxic Lotus.
Following Sitetampo’s departure from Crazy Raccoon and ZETA’s return to East Asia, Levi and Sizuku joined forces with the BSC legend for the 2025 season and enjoyed success throughout the year. Levi and Sizuku won four of the six Monthly Finals in 2025, including one with Naipishu during Sitetampo’s one month competition ban. While ZETA performed admirably at Brawl Cup, with a close game against SK and a third place finish, they bombed out of Worlds in dead last with embarrassing losses to STMN Esports and Papara Supermassive. Levi will now trade places with his former teammate Battoman and join REJECT, one of Japan’s best organizations, with a return to his home from the 2023 season.
Melty stays in the fight

With posts circulating from Melty’s alternate account about his retirement, we can clarify that Melty will not be retiring for the 2026 season, despite previous reports of the possibility. While Battoman’s move to ZETA has been consistent throughout a chaotic rostermania in APAC, Melty was expected to join I See and Mameshi on the ex-Rival Esports roster. With Mameshi’s late retirement, his spot was replaced by Achapi, as seen on the announced roster, but a late change resulted in Melty being dropped for former ZETA DIVISION ONE star, Ken-G.
With uncertainty circulating about Melty’s future, Shu and Levi made the decision to retain Melty from 2025’s REJECT roster in place of Ryohei, who was expected to join the roster for the 2026 season. Melty’s “retirement post” has since been deleted and a new post on his alternate account has surfaced, confirming that ZETA and REJECT will in fact swap players for 2026 instead of major roster changes, as previously possible.
REJECT’s roster will likely be:
🇯🇵 Melty
🇯🇵 Shu
🇯🇵 Levi
