Mameshi has announced that he will be retiring from active competition as a BSC player, the second player to announce such a move after Zhar's retirement.

The 2021 World Champion

First seen six years ago, Mameshi is one of the most iconic players in Asia. His first appearance was in 2020 with 我が名はB-boy指定, a rookie Japanese team making waves in the region. Every member of that roster would go on to lift at least one international trophy–Kenkuku (now Ken-G) and Sitei (now Sitetampo) with Z1 at MSI, Achapi with Z0 at Worlds 2022, and the trio of Mameshi, Sitei, and Achapi at the 2021 World Finals.

The roster started the 2020 season too late to catch up, but 2021 was a new era for Japanese Brawl Stars. Following JUPITER's rebrand, they retained their best player in Tensai and built around him, piecing together Achpai, Sitetmapo, and Mameshi as ZETA DIVISION. ZETA won an outstanding six Monthly Finals across 2021, a year of domination that led to lifting the World Championship trophy. Although he did not play on the World Finals stage, Mameshi was an integral part of ZETA's run throughout the year and would have undoubtedly been able to hold his own with the roster.

One of the Japanese Legends

In 2022, Mameshi joined ZETA DIVISION ONE alongside his 我が名はB-boy指定 teammates Ken-G and Sitetampo, but he ultimately left the roster after not seeing a ton of playtime in an era where BSC teams moved away from 4 player rosters. He continued the season with Blood Diamond EA/AtaruChanClub, showing respectable performances against his former teammates in ZETA, despite being ultimately unable to topple their reign over the region.

In 2023, Mameshi played with the rookie player “I See.” After a stint in East Asia as free agents, they ended the year with Team Flash, teaming up with fellow Japanese player Ryohei and SEA team captain X9Jay to compete at LCQ. They were unable to advance from groups, having a close 1-2 record, with losses to SK Gaming and Reconic Esports SA in the decider rematch. Mameshi had a quiet 2024 season, once again paired with I See on 3R Gaming, where they failed to qualify to any major events.

A Star Reborn

Despite a fall from the heights of his past, Mameshi reinvented himself and looked deadly throughout 2025. Adding Korean talent “Terry” into the mix, the roster of Rival Esports showed much promise throughout the year, qualifying to LCQ as the fifth seed from East Asia thanks to ZETA's performance at Brawl Cup.

At LCQ, Mameshi and the Rivals brought in his long-time teammate and friend Ken-G as a coach, a move that proved crucial during their run. Despite an early loss, they defeated EMEA ninth seed XPERION NXT in the lower bracket, along with a highly anticipated Toxic Lotus fresh off their strong performance at Brawl Cup. This allowed them to advance to Day 3, where they put up a valiant fight but were ultimately unable to beat a red hot RNTX, bringing Mameshi's career as a professional player to an end.

BSEN has info that he may continue his journey in the scene as a coach, although this is still currently unconfirmed. We wish him the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.
