At the end of 2025, Supercell announced a big change for Brawl Esports: an entirely new host. Over the course of 2026, BLAST has shaped BSC into a thriving mobile esport and blown 2025's statistics out of the water. Today, we're going to take a look at the most important statistic of all: viewership.
Why event.brawlstars.com is the GOAT

It's no secret that there is one main driving factor for Brawl Esports' viewership: event.brawlstars.com. Since 2021, the BSC event website has allowed casual viewers to interact with the esport globally and earn in-game rewards for doing so. While many of the views are generated from this source, it is important to praise that BSC identified a key weakness from 2025 and corrected it in 2026: exclusive cosmetics. In addition to waning interest in the game from the 2024 peak, 2025 saw the lowest event viewership in BSC history, in part contributed to by the lack of rewards. In addition to generic items like Starr Drops, the BSC event website has returned to awarding exclusive cosmetics every month and splitting rewards across both Monthly Final weekends, a great change to incentivize all viewers to stay engaged.
Brawl Cup: A Smash Hit

Let's take a look into 2026's biggest event so far: Brawl Cup Berlin. As BLAST's first true test in the BSC, it's safe to say they aced that quiz. Berlin proved to be one of the most lively Brawl Stars events in history with viewers from around the world uniting in the Uber Eats Music Hall as HMBLE claimed back to back victories.
Diving into the numbers, the result is clear: a new standard. According to Esports Charts, boasted 142000+ average viewers with a peak viewer count of just under 240k. With an airtime of 17.25 hours and ~2.5 million hours watched, it is one of the most successful LANs to date for BSC sitting as their third most viewed YouTube livestream of all time and the 9th most viewed BSC broadcast of all time.

BSC has been in a steady decline across 2025 to levels under the two years preceding it, but the 2026 season has been a good indicator that there is still potential yet to be seen. With 5 less hours of runtime than the 2025 World Finals and 1/10th of the prestige, Brawl Cup 2026 managed to nearly overtake the event in hours watched and trumped the peak viewer count by nearly 30 thousand, an incredible feat for BLAST.
Looking Ahead
As we head into the post-season, one major event remains to put on a show for BLAST: the 2026 World Finals in Tokyo. Held in one of the homes of global Brawl Stars, expectations will be sky high considering its marketing as the "biggest Brawl Stars event ever." With the June East Asia Monthly Finals surpassing 2 million views on YouTube, the stage is set for the 2026 World Finals to be BSC's best event on-site, but only time will tell if the viewership can be explosive enough to match it.
