After competing in East Asia for two years, NAVI has returned to their home ground in the EMEA region. NAVI has had a difficult road in East Asia, just barely missing out on the World Finals both years, and despite earlier reports of financial instability, the organization has locked in their roster for the 2026 season.
A Difficult Road
After unfortunate losses in groups at the 2023 World Finals against Tribe Gaming and Reply Totem, NAVI was eliminated from the tournament. With these losses, NAVI decided to head to East Asia for 2024, signing Achapi, I see, and Levi, later on switching I see out for Sizuku. They managed to reach the Last Chance Qualifiers that year, sadly not making it far as they were eliminated pretty early on by Reply Totem and Toxic Lotus. Heading into 2025 Levi and Sizuku left for ZETA Division, leaving Achapi behind. They ended up signing Kuru and Ryohei to finish their roster. They once again managed to make the Last Chance Qualifiers, this time making it to the playoffs where they lost to Papara SuperMassive, thus once again not making it to the World Finals.
The Return
Now heading into the 2026 season, NAVI has returned to EMEA hoping to finally make it back to the Worlds stage. For the new season Łukasz “GeRo” Gerek has decided to split up with his former teammates Nowy and MeOw with whom he won the 2023 World Finals. This makes it the first time since 2022 where he will not be playing with a full Polish roster. Yasinne “LeNain” Romdhane originally played with iKaoss and Drage at the start of the year for Team Heretics, but they didn’t make it as far as expected. They ended up swapping Drage out with Zhar at the start of the summer split, helping them win the June Monthly Finals.
They swiftly made the 2025 World Stage but ended up falling short, losing in the group stage against Reply Totem and REJECT. Talha “Drage” Amir started the year with Team Heretics but quickly left the team after just a few months. Drage did not compete in the competition for the following few months until he was signed by Reply Totem as their coach. He managed to help them reach the World Finals with great drafts, which helped Reply Totem reverse sweep Team Elektros, effectively making the World Finals. After winning from REJECT in the decider match of the group stage, they reached the playoffs where they eventually lost to SK Gaming, ending their run. With the combined talents of these 3 veterans, will this roster be able to reach the World Finals and take home the belt for NAVI?
NAVI’s roster is:
🇬🇧 Drage
🇵🇱 GeRo
🇨🇭 LeNain
🇺🇦 Chloun (Manager)
