South America is climbing back into relevance after a solid Top 8 finish at the World Finals from LOUD and an electrifying crowd from the Brazilian fans at the LCQ. Definitely one of the best years in the history of this region, but now these teams have to prove this wasn’t a one time thing and that the world should fear them. While we will have to wait for Creche Brawl’s superstars for one more year, let’s go over these seven teams who will be competing to claim the top spots in the region.

LOUD - Edinho, FireCrow, KaioDog

After winning the region’s first Worlds match win since 2021, this trio will return to defend their crown in South America as well as possibly go on another deep run in the playoffs. They should be the favorites to win the region again, but they might have some competition along the way. Especially considering they won’t receive help from Role who retired during the offseason. They better make this year count before Creche Brawl arrive next year.

New Heights Gaming - Portox, Prozy, Wesley

Being a late season addition to SKC proved to be worth it as Prozy helped the team secure two Monthly Finals Championships en route to a Worlds appearance. After parting ways with the team, Prozy seeks for a new challenge in hopes of recapturing that glory. Joining him will be Portox & Wesley who didn’t have the greatest success last year and are hoping to climb back to the top with a World Finalist. Signing them will be New Heights Gaming in hopes of finding the team that will finally take them to the postseason. We’ll see if it works out for them in the end.

SKCalalas SA - Mohtep*, Pekka, Rhz

SKC found a gem of a roster during the regular season and managed to take home three Monthly Final Championships home in South America with three non-Brazilians stars in the making. That run came to an end at Worlds where they would only win a single set which resulted in the team parting ways soon after. Now they’re reloading and putting together a solid playoff contender who can make it to Worlds. Mohtep & Pekka almost defeated the eventual World Champions and Rhz was a solid player. If things work out, we could very well see this org head back to the World Finals again.

KaioPerro - Derrp, Doritos, Loko

This team is back together again after a midseason roster swap occurred that didn’t exactly benefit either team much in the end. They will be starting the season as free agents, but they have shown they can succeed at this level and should certainly be a team to watch out for in this region. Derrp’s rookie season showed some promise that he can succeed at this level, but we’ll see if he can perform just as good in his sophomore season. Doritos & Loko should be able to help with that.

Alguem Segura - Brabao, Golden, IceCrow

One of the more underrated teams in the region that definitely deserves credit for being a threat to some of the best in this region. They kept it close and were just a win away from securing their first postseason berth, but they came up short and missed out on more Brawl in the Fall. Looks like they’ll be running it back together again for another season and I expect them to be an underdog in the postseason race considering there are fewer spots this year. We’ll see if this team can reach that next level and rank near the top for once.

Eternal - Cauebr, Jubileubr, Kristian*

After some unsuccessful results at the LCQ & World Finals respectfully, Jubileubr & Kristian have teamed up for the new season in hopes of finding success together. Jubileubr had a down year compared to 2024 while Kristian finally broke out as a top player in the region. They decided to bring in Cauebr who had a pretty decent 2025 season, but is hoping to improve his game now that he is on a promising roster. Eternal decided to take a chance on them in hopes of being a postseason contender, but we’ll see if it works out.

Zurita Gang - Bryan, Jxcr, Meliodas

The castoffs of the old Team Queso roster from 2024 reunite in hopes of recapturing glory. Both players had one hit wonder moments during the Spring Split last year with Bryan winning a Monthly Final with SKC and Jxcr coming one set short of beating LOUD in the Finals in April. Meliodas was supposed to be the next great player for SKC, but was later banned from competing for the remainder of the 2025 season. This team has the skills to win for sure, but their road won’t be easy considering their seeding will be quite low heading into the new season.
