[NEWS] ETN shocks SA, TE sweep through NA

What a show!

This weekend the BSC arrived in the Americas in a banger set of series to show some of the best Brawl Stars action these regions have to offer. Make sure you didn't miss anything in the following recap!

South America

Leading the opening match, LOUD gave a strong demonstration of why they were at the top last year, asserting their dominance against F/A Ninguem Segura. They went through a rough start after two close first sets that went back and forth, with LOUD taking Gem Grab and Ninguem Segura taking Brawl Ball. However, the resistance did not last much longer, as LOUD locked in the following two sets to close the series with a 3–1 score.

The second match was between the recently formed roster of Eternal Esports and, favored by predictions, Olimpo Squad. But if we learned anything from last week, it was that being favorites doesn’t mean everything, as Eternal claimed set after set to prove everyone wrong. The American organization won Brawl Ball, Hot Zone, and Heist, losing only the second set in Knockout to secure their way into the semifinals.

The third match was the same old tale of David vs. Goliath: Sonhadores vs. SKCalalas. Unfortunately for them, the narrative wasn’t on their side this time, as they were crushed by the unstoppable force of SKC.

The last quarterfinal, Bounty Hunters and New Heights Gaming, delivered one of the closest matches of the month. Even though the roster led by World Finals player, Prozy, was favored in this match, they did not have it easy to reach the semifinals, as BH took the lead in Hot Zone, but they later fumbled the next two sets after some misplays, especially in Gem Grab. The match finished with Knockout, where both teams managed to reach a double match point situation, one round away from victory on either side.

The semifinals opened with LOUD facing the remains of last year’s Casa Brawl in ETN, a nail biting series, where the Brazilian kings were challenged and finally dethroned. Eternal won Bounty only to lose the next two sets, making it seem like LOUD’s dominance was about to be repeated. But nothing could have been further from reality, as Eternal went on to win the next two sets, completely dismantling any chance for LOUD to take that semi-final spot and consolidating their win with a 3–2 score.

In the second semifinal, Kristian and Rhz faced their old teammate Prozy for a place in the grand finals. Everything seemed to favor SKC to take the win, as if it was already scripted, but against all odds, we were there to see the second upset in a row by NHG. After they won Heist and SKC won Knockout, Prozy stepped up against his former team to qualify for the grand final, winning Brawl Ball and Gem Grab and eliminating the second favorite team in the region.

Lastly, in the grand final, Eternal had to face NHG for the title. The two teams that delivered upsets just hours earlier wanted to prove that they deserved the win. The match was narrowly contested from start to finish, with the two grand finalists basically taking turns winning sets. First was Hot Zone for NHG, then Bounty for Eternal. Then Gem Grab and Brawl Ball followed the same order, with each team dominating its set until they went to the fifth one.

To close the series we saw a very clear outdraft from ETN, leaving NHG with no real options, and eventually taking the win to claim the title of South America February Monthly Finals Champions.

Now, this result resembles Casa Brawl’s victory in last year’s February Monthly Finals, with two of the same players winning it again. Will Eternal be able to keep their momentum from now on, or will they follow the same fate as Casa last year?

North America

To close out the February Monthly Finals, Team Elektros stomped their opponents in a way that no one has seen before, making their way to the highest place of the region.

The first match was a repeat of the 2025 NA’s Grand Final classic, Tribe Gaming vs. ELEVATE. This time, however, TRB showed that they’re not in the same league anymore, easily sweeping and completely destroying their old rivals 3-0. This match marked Diegogamer’s debut with this roster with an astounding win against his former teammate, Vegeta.

Moving on into the second match of the day, Team Elektros brand new rookie roster debuted against Vatic, whose roster represented the British organization last year from the summer split to the Last Chance Qualifier. The new kids on the block made a statement with their crushing results: “They're here to stay.” They successfully swept Vatic with clear dominance to advance to the semifinals.

In the third match we had the veterans in KDS Esports facing the upcomer challengers Only Realm and, despite showing a great skill level, the experience prevailed to deliver the third full sweep in a row.

The last quarterfinal was featured by the friendship-powered Mexican powerhouse STMN against long time veteran Tyrant and his teammates from Crows Nest Esports. The Worlds semifinalist squad kept the sweep streak going by completely dominating the series and advancing to the semifinals.

Opening the semifinals, the eternal kings of North America, Tribe Gaming, were challenged by the victory hungry roster of Team Elektros in one one of the most anticipated series of the month. This rookie team was prepared to break traditions in order to make their name into the Hall of Fame of Brawl, as they showed in this match, taking Bounty, Gem Grab, and threatening to keep the sweeps going in Brawl Ball. Tribe struggled to control the series, barely managing to take one set away from his opponents, just to lose it all in a devastating set of Knockout, sealing a 3-1 victory for the rookies.

The last match before the grand final saw both the best and the worst LAN performing teams in North America clash, both STMN and KDS looking for the win. This thrilling match was by far the closest and most evenly paired of all, with each set going back and forth, that they needed to go to the final fifth set to decide the winner. Shooting Star in Bounty was the scenario that witnessed STMN overcoming the score after amazing teamwork by Juan Carlos and PaiN, getting the final score to a 3-2 victory in their favor.

The final challenge was awaiting as Team Elektros had to give their 100% to defeat their biggest rivals yet, STMN. If they wanted to write their names in Brawl History, this was the chance to do it, and they did it in the most dominant way possible. Hot Zone, Bounty, Gem Grab, no matter the mode or the map, they outdrafted, outplayed, and outskilled without losing a single game, making it a perfect, dominant, and outstanding performance to take their first Monthly Final and the title of North America’s February Monthly Finals Champions.

After one of the most surprising debuts in the BSC, Team Elektros proved that they could translate their dominance from the Matcherino scene into the most competitive level of the game. Will they continue to amaze the world with their talent, or will the veteran players successfully manage their way back to the top?
