North America had a LOT of drama since the last Monthly Final. Ranging from a crazy buyout that was shown to the public to the many roster changes that occurred just days before the main event. It seems there will never be a dull moment in this region, which is something we can’t really say about the Quarterfinals in this region last month. We’ll see if that changes this Sunday, but for now here is a recap of all the chaos that unfolded after we crowned Team Elektros as the kings of NA.

The $20,000 Kid
North America had quite a lot of drama this past month and that included a huge roster change that shook up the region as a whole. After not feeling satisfied with their original group, Vatic felt it was time for a change and released Rafiki after one month in a shocking announcement. Not long after, they managed to pick up another young talent who seems quite promising, yet hasn’t unleashed their full potential yet. While it did cost Vatic $20,000 to pick him up from Elevate, they feel he could be the missing piece to bring this team back into contention. The only issue is that their bracket isn’t any better than what it was last month facing Tribe and then Team Elektros right after, but so far it seems like this will be a good fit according to their scrim results. We’ll see if that becomes true heading into the Monthly Finals and if they buyout was worth it in the end.
Tribe in Trouble
Last year, Tribe Gaming were on top of the NA region winning a total of 4 Monthly Finals Championships and finishing in the Top 2 at least in every Monthly Final. While it didn’t result in much LAN success, it did result in some of the most dominant performances we’ve seen in the region. Although it has only been one month, Tribe finished the lowest they’ve been in since 2024 suffering a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Team Elektros in the Semifinals. Diegogamer has been a solid addition to the team still and the team is still pretty good, but definitely not what they were last year. It doesn’t help that they’re going up against Vatic in the Quarterfinals as underdogs after nearly getting eliminated in the Qualifiers. They can at least say they aren’t STMN, but they might be in some serious trouble if they don’t go back to their winning ways.
Sudden Changes
Our final segment will cover the many substitute additions & org signings that were made this past week. Let’s go over them briefly starting with our substitutes.
Legacy Esports managed to qualify after an incredible run that sent STMN home packing coming off of a 2nd place finish last month. This would mark the first real chance these players had at maybe causing an upset or two, but then Junnie got banned which resulted in them needing a sub. The team they beat to qualify was willing to give Tacos a chance to compete this month which could be helpful if he fits in well with the team. Vic Day also managed to surprise the world with their incredible run in the Winners Bracket without practicing much together, but Steel would unfortunately not be available to team up with them. Secondbest will be making his Monthly Finals debut this year as their sub after two failed attempts with Zeus & Zoulan. We’ll see if these substitutes can make a statement this month with their new temporary teammates.
Now on the org side of things, Enosis Esports is making the move from SA to NA after dealing with a ton of frustration due to a lack of success with their old core. Their new core will consist of the Mathgamerbs Aura roster who were able to defeat F/A OuiOui this qualifier in a close 3-2 brawl. They will have to face the defending champs this month so we’ll see if the signing works out for Enosis in the end. Only Realm is making a return to NA as well, but this time with an unexpected roster featuring Bobby, Patchy and Sans who were recently released by KDS. This could work out for the newly signed trio as they appear to have a pretty easy bracket in the bottom half compared to the chaotic upper half of the bracket, but we’ll have to wait and see on game day if this becomes true or not.
Our Predictions

We are a little torn on our predictions for this region. We’ll find out who the Predictions Master is for this Monthly Final on March 22nd @ 19:00 UTC!
