EMEA February Monthly Final Bracket from @Brawl_esports on X

Welcome to the first Preview & Predictions post from the EMEA region this year! It's been a while since we've seen arguably the most stacked region compete in these, but that time has finally arrived! A lot has happened during the offseason, including some wacky Rostermania madness, as well as the arrival of the kid who needs no introduction, but we'll get to all of that later. We first need to see who our 8 teams competing this Sunday will be, so let's jump right into the action!

EMEA Monthly Qualifiers Recap

With so many potentially good teams from this region, it was hard to see some teams unable to make the cut. Luckily SK Gaming was not one of them, as they had a pretty good run and will remain the top seed in the region for now. Team Heretics, meanwhile, had a perfect 9-0 run in the Qualifiers, which included a sweep against NAVI, making them one of two teams to go perfect in this region. The other one was HMBLE who had to get past a scary FUT team, but they surprisingly had no trouble with them pulling off a sweep. Not exactly the the greatest start for FUT Esports, but at least they made the cut from the Losers Bracket by beating their Academy team. Reply Totem also had a good run and qualified from the Winners Bracket. Just ignore the fact they almost lost to Cube in their opener. Yes you read that correctly.

A lot of chaos happened in the Losers Bracket. NAVI were just one hit away from their safe being destroyed and eliminating against Mandies Candies, but they would prevail after that close call in Game 2 and keep their season alive. We had a pretty interesting fight for another spot in the Losers Bracket between Schnitzel, NOVO Esports, and BIG. Only one of these teams would be able to claim it, and after a solid run in the Losers Bracket, BIG would come out on top, beating both Schnitzel and NOVO in the process. And lastly we have CMM who also qualified by having an easier road than most, but this did include a win against MMR who would go on to lose their following match via a blunder that sent Rama into retirement.

The Scrim Reaper has Arrived!

He has arrived! The kid that has been hyped up by many pros and fans of his since 2024 is making his awaited BSC debut. Turning 16 back in November, Guesti will be making his first Monthly Finals appearance with FUT Esports who is looking for a Monthly Finals Championship. Probably the most hyped player that has entered the scene, and it has shown in the scrim and Matcherino department, being absolutely unstoppable. There is a catch to his arrival, though, and that is him being good in just those scrims. He wasn't able to close out a single set against HMBLE in the Winner's Bracket, but we don't expect greatness to happen right out the gate. The Spring Split will be a great test to see if he's the real deal or if he is only a reaper of the scrims.

Joker is Back in Green!

After two years finishing in the Top 4 at Worlds, Joker decided it would be best to part ways and rejoin the team that made him a superstar. Reply Totem has welcomed back their old friend with open arms in hopes of finding them success in the regular season again. Totem may have been able to go on deep runs with both iKaoss and Angelboy, finishing in the Top 4 & Top 8 respectively, but they weren't able to provide much help during the regular season, each missing the Monthly Finals at least once during the season. With Joker winning three Monthly Finals last year with SK, and with there being less postseason spots this year, they're gonna need all the help they can get if they want to be back on top of EMEA like the good ole' days.

New Kids on the Spaniard Block

After having one of the regular seasons of all time and a drama filled disaster at Worlds, Team Heretics cleaned house and decided to start a new roster from scratch by building a contending team for their veteran leader iKaoss. He will be searching for a new duo to play with for the fifth year in a row now, but this time he believes he found the ones that will carry him to glory. Two young stars from Italy who broke out and shocked all of Europe last year will be getting a chance to continue iKaoss' Worlds clinching streak and hopefully much more. Marco and Subeme have a lot of potential to become superstars like their new leader, so it'll definitely be interesting to see how this will work out in the end. Let's just hope it doesn't end in a soap opera like it did last year.

Predictions Time

Same thing we did with the East Asia region, Lucky and three of our experts will be teaming up to give you the best predictions possible so that you can climb up the rewards track at MAX speed. We actually have a pretty stacked lineup for this month, so we know we'll be bringing our A game for you guys. Introducing the team this month: we have the GOAT Sugus hailing from Tribe Gaming, the lovely Domori from Crow's Nest Esports, and of course, we had to bring in the amazing Lukluk from NOVO to join us.

Regarding our predictions, they all chose similar Quarterfinals matches except for Sugus who doesn't seem to have faith in the Scrim Reaper. Domori seems to have faith in him, as she has FUT going to the Grand Finals, while the others have the SK vs. HMB matchup we were used to seeing so much last year. However, everyone is split on who will win it all, as Sugus and Lukluk think that SK will pull it off, while Lucky and Domori will be supporting the 2024 World Champions this month. Here are our BrawlCap predictions for the February EMEA Monthly Finals:

SK, HMB, and TTM with a 4/4 on the quarterfinals for the BSEN Guaranteeâ„¢ -

Who will be crowned as Champions to start the year? Tune in on February 15th @ 13:00 UTC to find out!
