North America has had a rough two year stretch where the best North American team at Worlds finished in the Top 8. Plenty of roster shake ups happened around the region including some of the top teams making some changes. It has definitely been an interesting offseason with these moves, but will it be enough to put NA back on the map, or is this region truly cooked? Let’s go over seven teams we feel could return NA to its glory days… hopefully.

Tribe Gaming - Diegogamer, Lxffy, R B M

After another unfortunate early exit at a LAN event, Tribe has decided to make a bit of a roster shakeup to finally get over the hump and bring NA back to relevance. After a breakout season last year, Diegogamer has joined the top team in the region in hopes of bringing NA back to relevance on a global stage. They should be able to place at the top of the region, but their true test will be at the LAN events they just seemingly can't win in. Hopefully this roster swap will be enough to bring Tribe back to their glory days.

CODE OG* - Duckie, OG, Vegeta

Elevate had a pretty solid roster last year who ended up finishing in the Top 2 five times last year, but some behind the scenes beef ultimately led to their disqualification from the World Finals. A very unfortunate way to end the year, but at least they proved they were capable of being a top NA team. While they all parted ways, Vegeta remains as the only member left and he plans on teaming up with old man OG along with Duckie who has shown some flashes of being decent. While I don't expect a whole lot from this team right off the gate, they could be something interesting if things start clicking.

KDS Esports - Bobby, Patchy, Sans

After a bizarre 2025 season filled with many lows and one high moment in August, bobby & sans have parted ways with chino to try and recapture the glory days of 2023. Teaming up with Patchy was a pretty smart move in what could potentially be his final year in the scene. They did manage to strike a deal with a previous org, but it fell through and at the last minute signed with KDS. We’ll see if this group of vets have what it takes to defeat the future young stars of NA.

STMN - JuanCarlos, PaiN, tacos

We will never forget the incredible run this team had at the World Finals last year. Going from feeling like they won’t win a single set to beating ZETA DIVISION and finishing in the Top 8 as the best NA team at the event. That convinced them to stick together for another year and for STMN to keep them under contract again. While this was an incredible run, the same could not be said about their success during the regular season last year. If they want to make it back to the postseason, they’re gonna have to prove that their Worlds run wasn’t just a one time thing.

Vatic - Belal, Ezlivi, Rafiki

The rise of Belal & Rafiki has been a welcoming one in the region as they have both developed into some of the best players in the region while also reviving Ezlivi’s career in the process. Even though they weren’t at full strength with Belal missing out, they had a pretty good showing at the LCQ despite the reverse sweep against Totem in the Golden Ticket Match. Vatic saw this and felt it was worth signing them hoping they can recapture that glory.

F/A Roster - secondbest, Zeus, Zoulan

Parting ways with Tribe Gaming after an unsuccessful Worlds run, Zeus is on a mission to find two new teammates that could possibly help get him back on top of NA. Many tryouts later, two veterans of the game will be joining him in hopes of recapturing their glory days. Zoulan & secondbest may not have had a great 2025, but they definitely still have some fight in them. It’s gonna be odd seeing these three compete together and even though they have dipped a bit in production, they could still cause some surprises and make things interesting in NA.

Team Elektros - Doin, Memen, Snoiy

A newcomer trio from NA will be making their debut together as the next great prodigies of NA. These three have shown dominance in several third party events on Matcherino and have been praised by a lot of the best NA players in the scene. While they might not have much experience in super high pressure situations in BSC yet, this would be a great year to test their strength in that regard. Team Elektros was known for bringing a team of prodigies to a promising LCQ run last year, but can they do it again with this group too?
