Prominent South American organization SKCalalas has officially confirmed its expansion into the East Asia region for the 2026 season. This marks a historic milestone for the org, as it is the first time they have established a roster outside of the Americas since entering the BSC scene.
The Rising Sun
Leading the charge is Naipishu, a 23-year-old player who is widely regarded by the community as one of the region's most exciting prospects. Throughout the 2025 season, Naipishu proved his consistency by reaching five Monthly Finals, though his runs were often halted in the quarterfinals.
However, his true potential was put on full display in the final month of the regular season, when he stepped in as a substitute for Sitetampo on ZETA DIVISION. In a dominant performance, Naipishu helped ZETA sweep the competition, winning every set to secure a 3-0 Monthly Final victory, proving he belongs at the very top of the tier-one scene.
A Quest for Redemption
Joining him is a name that carries immense weight in East Asia: Kuru. A former 2022 World Champion with ZETA DIVISION ZERO, Kuru’s career has faced a difficult trajectory in recent years. After a disappointing 2023 LCQ exit and failing to reach the qualifier in 2024, his 2025 season ended in heartbreak with a 3-0 loss in the Golden Ticket Match against Papara SuperMassive. Kuru now joins SKCalalas with a chip on his shoulder, looking to revitalize his career and prove that his championship-caliber skill is still intact.
The roster is rounded out by Ghost T, a high-potential rookie who will celebrate his 18th birthday next week. Despite his limited experience, Ghost T showed flashes of brilliance in his two Monthly Final appearances last year, providing the youthful mechanical energy this lineup needs to compete with the region's giants.
The Mastermind from Colombia
SKCalalas has enlisted the expertise of Colombian head coach Sebas to lead this ambitious expansion. While this is his first venture into East Asia, Sebas is no stranger to cross-regional success. In 2024 he led Reply Totem to a prestigious Top 4 finish at the World Finals. Last season he guided Team Heretics to a Monthly Final title and a third-place finish in EMEA, earning him a nomination for Coach of the Year at the BSEN Brawlon D’or 2025.
With a blend of veteran championship experience, a red-hot prospect, and an elite tactical mind, SKCalalas is not just entering East Asia to participate: they are entering to conquer. With rosters in both APAC and SA, the organization will have two chances for glory in the 2026 season.
SKCalalas’ East Asia roster is:
