East Asia March Monthly Finals Bracket
East Asia March Monthly Finals Bracket

Another weekend of Qualifiers is in the books and we have quite an interesting Monthly Final up ahead for the East Asia region. A new org won't be making their debut this month despite signing the runner-up team from last month, REJECT were somehow unable to qualify, a possible redemption arc for Crazy Raccoon after an unfortunate start to their title defense and a Korean uprising is upon us as some new challengers from the country make an appearance. At the end of this post, we'll give you our expert predictions in hopes of helping you earn even more of those juicy rewards.

New Org Curse & REJECT’s Downfall

Just this past week, a new org joined the BSC scene believing ABC had potential to become one of the best teams this year after a 2nd place finish in February which included defeating the World Champions in the Quarterfinals. The future looked bright for this great trio, but then the March Qualifiers happened. They suffered an early exit to a decent Korean team which forced them to win three straight matches to qualify. While they would win the next two matches, they would fall in the hands of Feasible Gaming in a 3-2 heartbreaking defeat. The new org curse strikes again. While this loss was brutal and may have dwindled their chances of qualifying for the Brawl Cup, at least they can say they aren’t REJECT.

REJECT was coming off a disappointing reverse sweep loss against WWL Esports. We all figured this was a one time thing and that they would come back next month stronger than ever. Then they bumped into WWL again and while they kept it close, they couldn’t close it out and fell to the Elimination Bracket with another 3-2 defeat. It would get worse from there as they would not be able to finish off Galaxy Collapse and suffer another 3-2 defeat eliminating them. This loss pretty much ends their chance of qualifying for the Brawl Cup and with REJECT being quite behind on the leaderboards, they might have to consider making some serious fixes heading into the next month and Summer Split.

Crazy Raccoon’s Redemption Arc

Fresh off of a World Championship run for the ages, we all thought this would be a smoother start to the year for the champs. However, last month proved to be quite the opposite as they showed they still haven’t quite figured out how to win in online matches. Suffering a 3-1 defeat while playing at CR HQ was a cause for concern, but with how chaotic this month was for the region as a whole, it would be kinda surprising to not see them in the Grand Finals at least. This month will be the redemption arc for Crazy Raccoon to get them back on top of the leaderboard and in the running to claim a Brawl Cup spot. If they don’t make it to the Grand Finals at least, they would likely need to pop off in the final month to have a chance at defending their title. Odds are they’ll likely pull off a second place finish at least, but anything is possible with how chaotic this season has been.

The Korean Takeover Has Begun

Last year, we were introduced to a Korean player breaking out as a solid player in Terry. We all thought it would be another year of Japanese domination with him leaving for Europe, but it turns out South Korea has a lot more talent than we thought. Three Korean teams will be competing in this Monthly Final with one of these teams having a real shot at claiming a spot for the Brawl Cup if they meet expectations this month. DF will be making their Monthly Final debut with three new Korean players while Galaxy Collapse is quite new with the exception of Creo leading the fray. WWL Esports makes a stunning return defeating REJECT to qualify from the Winners Bracket and look poised to make another run to the Top 4. If all goes well this month and the next, we could very well see a Korean team heading to the Brawl Cup in May.
