The 2026 BSC Season has officially begun, and we are already off to an incredible start! After a thrilling weekend of Qualifiers across our four main regions, we our down to our final 32 teams for the month who will be giving it their all and get off to a strong start to the season. In this post, we will be going over the eight teams who qualified from the East Asia, and their journey of how they got here, as well as our thoughts on who we think is going to top Asia this month. Let's waste no more time and jump right in with our Qualifiers Recap!

East Asia Monthly Qualifier Recap

This Qualifier did provide some unsurprising, yet intriguing results in the Winners Bracket. ZETA DIVISION had a pretty easy road as the #1 Seed and swept everyone in their path. SKCalalas EA had a strong debut in Japan with the help of their two young stars, breezing through the Qualifiers, while also defeating the Icebreaker Champions ABC in a 3-1 victory, who would eventually qualify from the Losers Bracket. REJECT and Crazy Raccoon both had their qualifying matches come down to the final set against Frenzy and Rival respectively, but an upset would not happen as both teams locked in and ran away with the win.

While Rival Esports would manage to cut it close in a 5 set victory in the Qualifying Match from Losers, the same could not be said for Frenzy as they were beat out by Effort Result who went on a solid Losers Bracket run to qualify. The team who sent them to Losers, WWL Esports, qualified with ease and will be the lone Korean team competing in this Monthly Final.

Crazy Raccoon's Title Defense Begins

The 2025 Brawl Stars World Champions are looking to bring another trophy home to Asia and make Tensai's legacy even more legendary, but they definitely have some question marks surrounding them heading into the new season. While their postseason run was one for the ages, you can't say the same for their regular season results, as it has been a year since they made the Grand Finals in their region. They finished the season in 4th, and with fewer postseason spots, it will definitely be a tough task to make it back to the big stage again. If anybody can do it though, it's definitely these guys.

Can ZETA & REJECT Rebound?

Despite these two teams finishing in the Top 2 on the leaderboards last year, their runs at the World Finals were quite underwhelming with neither making it to Day 3. Changes had to be made from both teams and they figured "let's just swap players and see if that pans out well for us." With Battoman joining ZETA and Levi joining REJECT, it'll be an interesting Brawl to see who will win this trade by seasons end. ZETA also having Mameshi as their coach should help them out quite a bit. Expect these two teams to be strong postseason contenders again for 2026!

Has the Next Japanese Star Player Arrived?

In August 2025, a brand new potential star player may have been born. Naipishu was stuck on a roster who seemingly dropped off during a brutal Summer Split collapse, but he was given a chance to fill in Sitetampo's shoes when he was ineligible to participate. He dominated everyone and ended the year going 9-0 to secure ZETA the #1 Seed. He has made his mark as a good player, but now he's going to have to prove that it wasn't just a one time thing. He'll be teaming up with former World Champion Kuru and a player making his return to the competitive scene in Ghost T in hopes of recapturing that glory.

Predictions Time

We gathered Lucky as well as three other experts on our team to make predictions for this region. Leafy, Mangio, and Mr. C have taken the time to share who they think will win the Monthly Finals. In the Quarterfinals, all four chose the same winners to win. Same goes for the Semifinals where they all chose to see a ZETA vs. CR Grand Finals, but they were split on who to pick to win the East Asia Opener. Lucky and Mr. C are rooting for ZETA, while Leafy & Mangio predict the World Champs to reign supreme. Here are our BrawlCap predictions for the Febuary East Asia Monthly Finals:

ZETA, SKC, RC, and CR all receive the BSEN Guarenteeâ„¢ with 4/4 expert predictions.
